The District of Columbia Department of Aging and Community Living conducts the Ambassador Training Program to provide more community members with information about our programs and services available for DC residents age 60+, residents with disabilities age 18 and older with disabilities and their caregivers. Ambassadors will share information with those who may be in need of services and connect them with the department. 

An Ambassador Workshop Series will be offered to help ambassadors stay abreast of other topics to help residents as they age in place in the community.  Attendees are required to train as an ambassador in order to register for workshops in the series.
