Lead Agency Grant Program

The Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) looks to community partners in the Senior Service Network to innovate and deliver high-quality services for older adults across the District. To that end, DACL will be competing Lead Agency grants for Fiscal Year 2024, and all interested organizations are encouraged to apply.

The Lead Agency grant program is a collaborative effort to mobilize both public and private sector resources to deliver effective community-based support and resources to customers in a coordinated service delivery system with person-centered choice and cultural competence. A Lead Agency grantee assists adults 60 years and older and those who care for them with access to needed social programs, information, nutrition services, and other assistance.

Please see below for the Request for Applications (RFA) and associated documents. The applications are due on June 14, 2023 by 4:30 pm. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Pre-application workshops will be hosted on:

  • May 2, 2023 from 1 pm to 3 pm
  • May 4, 2023 from 10 am to 12 pm

Both sessions will be held at the DACL Headquarters at 500 K Street NE in the first-floor conference room; however, the location is subject to change. Please email [email protected] to RSVP and get location updates.
